Jakarta asks public spaces to provide COVID-19 booster vaccination points

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Jakarta provincial government has asked public institutions in the capital to provide COVID-19 booster vaccination services to visitors as a condition of entry.

“We are asking all places in Jakarta to impose [the entry requirement that all visitors must receive a booster jab]Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said in Jakarta on Monday.

The policy is stipulated in the Circular of the Minister of the Interior No. 440/3917/SJ on the acceleration of booster vaccination for the community.

The circular explains that public facilities include offices, factories, public parks, tourist attractions, art venues, culture, restaurants/restaurants, cafes, malls/malls/malls and d other public spaces.

Visitors must scan the QR code to enter public facilities through the PeduliLindungi mobile app, as has been mandated to date.

On Sunday, July 17, the Ministry of Health updated color-coded information on the COVID-19 app.

Green means that people aged 18 and over are allowed to go to public places because they have received a full course of vaccination and a booster shot, are not COVID-19 patients or have close contact with those these, and have a negative antigen test result performed within the last 1×24 hours or PCR swab test performed within the last 3×24 hours. Green also means that people between the ages of 6 and 17 have received a full vaccination course.

Yellow signifies people aged 18 and over who have received a full course of vaccination or aged 6 to 17 who have been vaccinated with a single dose. They are allowed to visit public spaces.

Red signifies people who are not allowed to visit public spaces because they have not been vaccinated or have only received the first dose for people aged 18 and over.

Meanwhile, black means people are not allowed in public spaces because they tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days or had close contact with positive patients at the course of the last 14 days.
