The online chat platform has compiled a list from reputable reports investigating the world’s most relaxing places, listing 107 places in total.

The researchers then used Instagram’s search database to see how many hashtags each destination had before ranking them from highest to lowest.

The most Instagrammable quiet British spots

Research found that Snowdonia National Park was the most Instagrammable place to relax in the UK, with 1,083,199 million people using the hashtag “Snowdonia” globally.

With an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and sea views all the way to Ireland, it’s no surprise that the national park is a hugely popular place to relax.

The Isle of Skye in Scotland comes second with 875,518 people using the hashtag. The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Scotland, with abundant nature, pools of water and plenty of walks.

In third place with 335,683,000 hashtags is Lewes in East Sussex. The town has a wide variety of hidden forests and offers plenty of opportunities for peaceful walks along the river or through the hills of the South Downs.

In fourth place is Seven Sisters on the East Sussex coast with 331,092,000 hashtags. Seven Sisters is a designated Area of ​​Outstanding Natural Beauty and is known to be one of the most peaceful places to visit.

Rutland, Leicestershire, with 274,304,000 hashtags, completes the top five.
