This Memphis joint specializes in sliders, but their famous frozen drink is what sets them apart this time of year. The Jameson Slushie is a must for locals and visitors alike. One of Memphis’ newest cocktail bars, Cameo, opened in March this year. Cameo is all about cocktails, with dishes supporting the carefully curated drinks menu instead of the other way around. Their motto is “Fancy Drinks Party Time”, and they certainly have the drinks to match. They have three frozen cocktail offerings: the Trash Nap with white rum, dark rum, passion fruit, pomegranate, orange, lime, cherry, absinthe and bitters of angostura; the Cowboy Anti-Christ with rum, pineapple and coconut; and finally, the Very Fancy Roommates, a mix of the two drinks. Their very sophisticated versions of the classic frozen cocktails are definitely worth trying.
