The Scream The franchise may be all about late girl Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), but the films have a sweet romance starring Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). While Dewey and Gale meet cute in the original 1996 film and fall in love, they meet again in Cry 2which is the movie when they officially start their romance.

I know what you did last summer is a ’90s horror film that holds its own, and it has a sweet romance too. Before Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and her group of friends accidentally run over someone on graduation night (or so they think), Julie and Ray (Freddie Prince Jr.) are super in love. They are enjoying the summer before real life begins, thinking they will always be together.

As the movie continues, Julie stops talking to Ray with her best friend Helen Shivers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), but Ray never stops loving Julie and she still cares about him too. This love story is realistic, as the characters lose touch as Julie goes off to college and Ray works as a fisherman in their hometown. While most couples don’t face the scary situation here, many couples find it difficult to date people who are distant or when one of them changes as they get older.

It is possible to think of The foreigners as the scariest movie of the 2000s. It also has a compelling love story that serves as the backdrop for the terror that occurs.

After attending a wedding, Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman) know their own relationship is over and they’re going to sleep in a cabin before embarking on the sad business of officially ending things . Before too long, a knock on the door reveals masked intruders, who torment and torture the couple. The film can be truly awful to watch, as there doesn’t seem to be any hope of the couple making it out alive. But the story also focuses on the emotion felt when two people love each other but know they can’t stay together. The foreigners remain vague on what went wrong, what works well as it seems more relevant.

Blumhouse’s Fun Horror Comedy happy day of the dead can focus on Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe), who finds herself in a time loop as she continues to relive the same day over and over again, and then gets murdered. Tree starts interacting with Carter Davis (Israel Broussard) because she keeps waking up in her dorm bed. Before too long, Carter is at her side, wondering if she can solve her own murder.

Tree and Carter have clear chemistry throughout the film, and at the end they kiss and appear to have fallen in love. While some Blumhouse horror films are overrated, happy day of the dead is super entertaining and it’s moving to see Carter caring so much about Tree and wanting to be there for her during this weird situation.

The directorial debut of Dave Franco Location is not only a great horror film, but there is also a fascinating love story inside. Michelle (Alison Brie) and Charlie (Dan Stevens) are married, but things between them aren’t perfect, as Charlie sleeps with Mina (Sheila Vand), his brother Josh’s (Jeremy Allen White) girlfriend.

The main characters discover there’s a hidden camera in the bathroom and realize they’re being watched and the movie has a particularly gruesome ending with an interesting twist. But before that, Josh and Michelle can tell something is wrong with their partners, and it’s as fun to watch this drama unfold as it is to see someone stalking and killing people who are staying on vacation or weekends. -end.
